Please order repeat prescriptions 48 hours in advance of collection. (Requests deposited on a Friday will be ready Tuesday afternoon).
If you are on regular treatment you will receive a repeat prescription form every time you renew your prescription. When you request a repeat prescription please only tick the items you require this time and deposit in the blue box in reception. If you have no form, please write your name, address and your request and put it in the box. Please try and be precise as to what it is that you require or your request could be rejected and you will then need to see a doctor.

Did you know there is no need to collect your repeat prescription from the surgery?
We can send your prescription electronically to your preferred pharmacy where it will usually be ready to collect 2 to 3 working days after you place your request. Ask us to register your preferred pharmacy on your records.
Synchronise Your Medication
The practice Prescribing Clerk can arrange for your medications to run out at roughly the same time. This means you can order all your regular repeat medicines at the same time, usually once per month.
You can order online via the link at the top of this page. In order to use this service you will need to visit the practice in person and provide photographic ID in order to be registered and be provided with a logon for the system. Alternatively you can submit an order via email to email@example.com Be sure to include your full name & date of birth.
We do not accept prescription requests over the telephone
Many of our local pharmacies will request your prescription for you and collect from the Practice 48 hours later and dispense the items for you, leaving you to collect it from the pharmacy at your convenience, if you prefer. Please inform your local pharmacy if you would like them to collect your signed prescription from us on your behalf.
We often encounter problems when a child or a stranger requests collection of a prescription on behalf of one of our patients and can sometimes be refused. To avoid such awkward situations and disappointment, if you do intend someone else to collect your prescription please ensure your representative has written permission including the date and can provide proof of identity.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse from time to time. Notifications will appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary delays for your further prescriptions.
